Hints To Obtain High Gloss
The following factors and conditions may affect the gloss giving properties of the polish :-
- • The amount of polish to be applied : Apply the shoe polish to the shoe, in an even coat, make sure that it covers the whole shoe including any crevices. Not to apply too thick or too thin of the coat.
- • Waiting time for the polish to dry : After the polish is applied, set the shoes aside to allow the polish to soak into the shoes and dry. This process should take approximately 10 – 15 minutes. If the waiting time is too short, the polish will be removed during buffing. But if waiting time is too long, the shoe will be hard to puff up.
- • Once the allotted time has passed, polish the shoes with the yuppies shoe brush. To polish a shoe, place your hand in the shoe and swiftly brush the shoe back and forth using quick, yet firm, strokes. You will notice upper changes from dull to shiny.
